Antonio Gramsci Museum
A place of memory for excellence, it is a destination for visitors and intellectuals, men of culture from all over the world. In 2016 it was recognized as a National Monument and Asset of cultural, historical and artistic interest. The House welcomes the visitor in an intimate and simple dimension and shows the story of one of the best known and most translated Italian intellectuals of the twentieth century in the world, Antonio Gramsci. The guided tour is guaranteed by competent and trained staff. Through the staff of the House Museum it is possible to broaden the knowledge of the places evoked in the letters of Antonio Gramsci’s prison, with itineraries in the historic center of the town of Ghilarza.

The House Museum is located in the main street of Ghilarza, easily reachable on foot and by car from our structure.

ANNUAL CULTURAL EVENTS
Gramscian Week takes place from 25 May to 1 June. Festival International A.Gramsci takes place at the end of September. Ghilarza Summer School is an international school of Gramscian studies that takes place every two years in the second week of September. Open from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – Closed on Tuesday.
